Dr McKibbin great. Not now he has retired Doctors taking u off medication that works for you and trying you with all different meds that don't work. And to phone between 8 & 10 in the morning for an appointment is a joke. I was in excruciating pain with my leg and foot from an injury 2 years ago and I phoned to see if I could get the medication that I was on for 2 years which helped and they done nothing and then to be told by the practice manager that they had tried to phone me 3 times but my phone wasnt accepting calls from that number and then being told that it might be in my best interest to change practice for a second opinion. Obviously wanting rid of me.Very unprofessional sadly I couldn't change as I had already tried because I had a doctor within the vicinity I couldn't change.definitely if you have moved to this area I would go elsewhere. Such ashame too it was a good practice.
This is more a tribute to Dr McKibbin than a review.I was with the doc when he was in John Street and moved to Fullwood. I had no real issues until I was 21 (14 years ago.) when I done my knee. The doc was great with me, my needs and my circumstances. I sporadically went throughout the years and again Doc was fantastic.Recently I have had a few health issues and have been going every so often over the last 15 months. I had no Idea the Doc was due to retire and was gutted when I found out.Good louck in your retirement Doc. You were a gentleman.

Up until a couple of months I would have agreed with the lady who said it was the most caring efficient practice I have ever attended.Sadly this is no longer true. I have only given it 2 stars because of the original staff who work there, and I suspect that won't be for very much longer, otherwise I would have given t zero if I could.It is criminal that the reputation that Dr. McKibbon had build up could be destroyed so quickly. His name was even respected in the local hospitals
For a Doctor to take his patients from a bellshill surgery to his new surgery to now say they no longer take patients from the Bellshill area is a disgrace. Never forget where you started.
